About Ursula
Vancouver Island is the place to live. It offers peace, quiet,
and the natural beauty we all enjoy. There is a place for
everyone to feel at home.
Nanaimo & Ladysmith capture the spirit of the island with
exceptional boating, fishing, golf, and hiking. Close to the
Departure Bay and Duke Point Ferry Terminals as well as the
Nanaimo Airport.
I have enjoyed the Island since 1973. Coming from Europe,
and having had the opportunity to travel and live all over the
world, I can truly say that the Island is a great place to
live, raise a family, or retire.
We lived in Kelowna, B.C. for a short time but the sights and
smells of the ocean pulled us back the coast.
My real estate career started in 1982, in Kelowna, with A.
E. LePage. When I returned to the Island in 1984, I was
recruited by the Ladysmith offices of Royal LePage and now
work in the Nanaimo office.
I enjoy people and find it a pleasure to assist with home
listings and purchases. I am fluent in German and Dutch.

LePage revolutionized the real estate industry in the country
by being the first agent in Toronto to turn buying and selling
homes into an accessible and professional enterprise. He
actively sought clients through follow-up inquiries, took
buyers from house to house by car and used descriptive ads in
newspapers - all industry standards today. He was also
instrumental in establishing the Toronto Real Estate Board
which helped raise the standards of the industry. By the time
he retired in 1953, Mr. LePage had moved the company beyond
the residential market and into home building and the
subdivision and sale of estates.
